First practice run in a couple years

I bought a few chairs at a thrift store for $5 each to use as practice chairs. This is the first chair I have put hands to in a couple of years. If this chair were meant for my house, I would be fine with the work however I wouldn’t do this to a client nor use it as an example. There are a couple of mistakes, the cane is the wrong size, and not groomed properly. I’m not going to bother binding it or tying off the remaining ties. I will take this cane out and re-do it with some lessons learned and some different artistic choices.

Anyway, I’m going to open up discussion on this post for a while in case anyone has any comments or questions.
